I love waterproof mascaras BUT I simply hate the process of removing 'em. Finding the right eye makeup remover is no easy feat. My usual makeup removal routine is usually using cleansing oil to remove all of my makeup. And so, I'm doing review on Fasio Mascara Easy Remover & Majolica Majorca Eyes Reset Gel.
FYI, I applied many layers of waterproof mascara. About 5 ? No eyeshadow (lazy :x) and Stage Broadway Brown Eyeliner.
I used L'oreal HIP Chrome Eyeliner (Gold Charge) for my lower lashline.
Fasio Mascara Easy Remover. I bought this simply because it was on sale ($10ish for 6.5ml) and I love trying new products. So why not ?
This reminds me of the Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara Remover, which I've never used before. You can read its review by Iris (Rougedeluxe) & Mag (Makeupstash).
The eyelash comb design of both is similar ok really the same, just like "twins" to me in fact. Agree ?
Product features:
- Oil contains a high cleansing power, gentle on the lashes, waterproof mascara can be completely removed.
- Add repair composition, camellia oil and hyaluronic acid derivatives. Will not cause any burden on the eyelashes.
- Spiral designed eyelash comb can evenly deposit the oil on individual eyelashes.
- No fragrance, no coloring.
- *Not applicable to warm water removable mascara
It has a special makeup remover eyelash comb which works the same way as applying your mascara on. I waited for a minute and went on to remove the dissolved bits with Kodomo Baby Wipe :x

!! It's that easy, really. I like that the mascara (even the eyeliner) was removed easily and effortlessly. It works better than cleansing oil IMO as my eyes did not become "cloudy" as they would be when using cleansing oil. No irritation whatsoever.
Rating: (Excellent)
Btw did you notice any change in my eyelashes ? *grins*

Next, I used Majolica Majorca Eyes Reset Gel for my right eye makeup.
$9.90 for such a big tube (30g) ! Can last me very long (;
Product Features:
- Blend with light circular motions and your mascara will slide right off !
- Eye makeup remover (oil formula).
- Gel type remover which turns into oil for complete eye makeup remover.
- The gel blends and binds with the most stubborn eye makeup including waterproof mascara and eyeliner for effective removal.
- Gentle on the skin without depriving the eyelids of their essential moisture.
- Contains no fragrance; allergy-tested.
- Apply the gel without wetting your hands or face.
- Take an appropriate amount (pearl-sized amount for each eye) to your fingertip and blend the gel onto your eye area including eyelashes.
- After eye makeup has mixed fully with the gel, gently wipe away by using tissue paper or cotton pad. Also possible to rinse away with water.
Hmm btw this gel remover should be applied after removing contact lenses as the gel may stain contact lenses (I didn't remove -.-").

Instead of tissue paper or cotton pad, I used Kodomo Baby Wipe to wipe off the dissolved bits after waiting for a minute or so. I like that it removed my eye makeup especially the waterproof mascara, effectively without much rubbing. This MJ eye makeup remover feels oilier than the Fasio one. That was why I still cleansed my eye area with water coz I feel that it's cleaner somehow.
Rating: (Excellent)
Perfectly cleansed, yea ?
What do you use to remove your eye makeup (especially waterproof mascara) ? Do share your thoughts with me (:
Wow,must check out the Fasio mascara remover!
ReplyDeleteI am currently using the Biore make-up remover.
I like the Majolica one too... but most of the time... I was so lazy! Still prefer cleansing oil to remove all makeup in the bathroom! hahaha
ReplyDeleteI still use cleansing oil to remove my makeup, easier, remove makeup off the whole face! LOL. I usually remove my makeup at the gym before I exercise, so I want it to be a quick process and also so that I don't have to bring so many items out!
ReplyDeleteAizutto, I'm done with Biore. I prefer Shu Uemura's.
ReplyDeleteChantana, same for me lol. What brand you using now ?
Kim, you, me & Chantana all same lol - LAZY. I think I lazier than you coz I don't remove makeup gym straightaway =x
I'm using the ZA cleansing oil (That time buy 1 get 1 free) Cleanse well and skin feel really smooth! (Almost finishing.. then I can start trying the Kose one.. the red label one)
ReplyDeleteThe ZA promo over already =.= Sad !! I bought the Naive Cleansing Oil instead, hope it's good heh.
ReplyDeletei love the fasio point make up remover (the liquid version) and this looks really promising, great review!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Regina ! This one is really good. Hmm I don't really like the liquid version though.
ReplyDeleteTill date I still love cleansing oil the most because I am lazy. :P
ReplyDeleteI also don't remove my makeup when I go gym because there's always not enough time to do so! I always remove them only after gym before bath.
edit: Chantana, I jus bought the ZA cleansing oil BOGO =p
ReplyDeleteCandy, same here hahas xD
Hahahhaa, I perspire a lot and sometimes I go for 2 classes in a row, I don't want the makeup to clog up my pores! Already breaking out so badly :(
ReplyDeleteOops =x You're doing the right thing ! Cheer up, I do use sheet masks daily to clear up my breakouts in the past. You might wanna try ?
ReplyDeleteI am too lazy to use sheet masks, so I sold all of mine off. I used to use them but they weren't v helpful. I think if my breakout starts getting worse, I might have to go back to my doc start on my medication again. Now I'm living with it!
ReplyDeleteHmm I heard that if you rely on doc medication, you'll have to continue like forever coz if you stopped, your skin condition will get worse =.=
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've been using facial products from a doc for years already, I can't stop if not my face will get worse. That time I had to take oral antibiotics coz my acne was so bad the face products didn't help.
ReplyDeleteHmm that sounds not so good eh. I think you've to stick to the doc forever. If it helps, why not (:
ReplyDeleteYa.. really gotta stick to the products, v sian coz there are so many other products out there that I wanna try.
ReplyDeleteIf you wanna try out other products, must be careful not to aggravate your skin condition.. But sheet masks do help.. That's what I told my sis who had a bad case of acne problems.. Now her skin condition has improved tremendously after months, she worries now about pores instead =.=
