Two Blur Guys

Two Blur Guys? huh?

If you have not already heard of this burger place, you are definitely missing out on something.

Basically, Two Blur Guys is a New York concept café that was set up by two not-so-blur guys who are passionate about good food burgers, beer and pastries. Currently, they have two outlets - Orchid Hotel and Boat Quay. And, I went to the latter with my siblings for a food tasting session.

We were led to the al fresco dining area, which I felt was great for a relaxing chill-out over dinner and drinks.

Two Blur Guys offers six mouthwatering variants of Blurger. Yes, they named their burgers 'Blurgers'. Hmm...

And so, we ordered Prime Beef with Streaky Bacon - $21Prime Beef with Portobello - $21 and Pulled Pork - $15.

Each Blurger comes with truffle fries (mild truffle taste) and salad sides. In my opinion, the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality taste.

Let's start with the Pulled Pork Blurger. It does look a lil' messed up. Well, thou shall not judge a blurger by its look.

This has gotta be my favoritest out of the three! The pork meat is perfectly marinated, very flavorful and super tender... well complemented with gruyere cheese and honey mustard... it just tastes simply heavenly! This is one burger that I highly recommend YOU to try :d~

Prime Beef with Portobello does not taste like your regular beef burger... DUH!

Just by looking at this pic alone is enough to make me drool... :P~

Oh, and this one is Prime Beef with Streaky Bacon. All in all, I am in love with the thick, succulent beef patties... the meat is soooooo tender! I prefer the one with portobello as the rich distinctive taste of gruyere cheese does make a difference.

If only the truffle taste of the truffle mayonnaise was stronger... the overall taste would be perfect!

Fyi, even the blurger bun taste good! That is really unexpected since I don't normally care much for the bun. Seriously.

I must say, burgers never tasted SO GOOD!

Enjoying Singapore's beautiful nightlife with Mojito & Margarita

My bro had Cappuccino... boring :x

That night, we witnessed pub crawl (where a group of people will try to visit as many pubs as possible in one night, having a set number of alcoholic beverages in each). Hmm... interesting... not for the faint-hearted though.

By the way, the guy in striped polo tee is one of the blur guys - Max. A friendly dude, who was really entertaining throughout the session. Like I said, he is definitely not blur. Witty and chatty, in a good way (;

We didn't expect desserts since we were full by then... but how could we say 'no' right? :P

We had this interesting dessert - Lamington that was recommended by Max. Originated from Australia, Lamington is a light fluffy sponge cake coated with grated coconut. It comes in chocolate and strawberry flavors. Obviously, we tried the strawberry one. The sweetness is just right. Somehow, the taste reminds me of nonya kueh

The perfect way to end the night with - this sinful-looking Chocolate Truffle Cake... rich chocolatey goodness in every bite! Need I say more?

A great blurger experience @ Two Blur Guys indeed. Thank you, Max for your warm hospitality! I'll definitely return for more yummilicious blurgers

Thank you for reading! (:
