Domino's Going Halal!

I'm was at Domino's Tampines AGAIN!

[Domino's Pizza]

The primary focus of this Domino's pizza gathering, is on the fact that ALL Domino's menu items in Singapore are halal certified.

According to the Islamic worldview, 'Halal’ is an Arabic word which means lawful or allowable. Any food or drink which falls under this category is permitted for consumption. Most food and drinks are considered Halal unless they are stated clearly in the Quran (holy book of Islam) and Hadith (prophetic sayings) as forbidden or non-Halal.

[info extracted from muis.gov.sg]

I'd more or less covered Domino's Pizza introduction/delivery/service standards in my earlier post HERE.

Hmm... I didn't get to see this pizza previously... It's called "The Big BBQ"! The dark sauce drizzled on the pizza is the BBQ sauce which doesn't taste too sweet, I like!

I think I've tried ALL Domino's Pizzas! My favorite pizza crust is undoubtedly - the NEW! Cheese Burst (2 crunchy thin crusts with a layer of creamy cheddar cheese sauce in-between).

Domino's simply amazed me by its high quality standards, be it takeway/delivery. There was not even once I'm unsatisfied with the food quality esp. the pizza itself. I've tried Domino's way before I attended these events. And, I must say the standards are there (very much maintained). Domino's is top on my list, followed by Sarpino's Pizzeria. The rest are meh (in terms of delivery standards).

I the golden roasted drumlets very-very much!

Domino's uses cornmeal instead of oil beneath the pizza dough to prevent it from sticking to the pizza stone.

The ever-so-sinful dessert (chocolate lava cake) to end the pizza feast! Apparently, it's everyone's favorite.

Last but not least - Domino's Pizza Cheer. They do this cheer every day without fail!

Thanks Alvin (OMY) and Domino's Pizza for organizing this event :D

DIY Hair-Coloring & Random Updates

I DIY-colored my hair on CNY eve. That was my 2nd time using Liese Bubble Hair Color, and I really enjoyed the "foamy experience"!

The color I used - Ash Brown. Well, my hair color didn't become as ashy as depicted on the box. Just a tinge of ashiness.

Without further ado, here's the hair color results. The color tone varies due to my previously highlighted hair.

My recent hair color. The ashiness has already diminished gradually by now.

My hair color looks much brighter under sunlight... more like dark brown when I'm indoors.

Last Saturday, I was at the Nando's Hot Peri-Peri Victory Beach Party (held @ Siloso Beach) with my gf and her bf. Free flow of Hot Peri-Peri Chicken & beverages (including ice-cold beer)!

More photos of the party via Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken Singapore FB Page HERE. ***Warning: Some pics can be really disturbing!***

A really hot and sunny afternoon. Literally melted... and the eyeliner bled on me (I was perspiring due to the immensely hot weather)... *faints*

I went for 2nd round of Hot Peri-Peri Chicken & butter rice! Yummilicious! :d~

Mini candy-flosses :D

We left early and had dessert (@ New Zealand Natural).

Butterscotch with pecan (I think). Not very nice.

2nd round of dessert (@ Fruit Paradise). I had Strawberry Tiramisu which tasted so-so. That day, I really ate alot-alot!

I'm relatively new on Instagram...

SOTHYS Hydradvance™ Programme

I was at Lawry's The Prime Rib for SOTHYS Private Bloggers Session, two weeks ago.

[Home Care Range]

We were presented - SOTHYS Hydradvance™ Programme, which uses SOTHYS' patented H2CR® Cosmeceutic Complex (boost healthy cells) and 1055 Boletus Extract (stimulate genes to restore skin's ability to REHYDRATE itself).

Boletus Edulis, is an edible mushroom rich in Vitamin B3 (reducing effects of skin aging) and Vitamin E (powerful anti-oxidants).

Combined with other active ingredients, 1055 Boletus Extract acts on 2 main functions to restore the skin’s ability to REHYDRATE itself:

#1 - Optimizing Hydric Flows

  • Storing sufficient water in the dermis layer that acts as a water reservoir for the skin.
  • Regulating water circulation which travels from the dermis to the epidermis through proper and functional channels.
  • Retaining water that reaches the epidermis layer to achieve a well-hydrated skin.

#2 - Reconstituting the Barrier Function

  • Reactivating and improving individual functions of the skin’s protective layer.
  • Providing optimal protection from oxidative stress.
  • Restoring cell communication to optimize and sustains the skin’s function.

Hydradvance™ Intensive Hydrating Serum

$179 (50ml)

Hydradvance™ Light / Comfort Hydrating Cream

$159 (50ml)

Hydra-Nourishing Mask

$109 (50ml)

Will be reviewing this mask in prolly a month's time (:
