Rose - a symbol of love, romance

pureDKNY A Drop of Rose is a clean, soft and sensually romantic fragrance, made with naturally derived rose from Turkey. 

It was love at first sniff. This is the fragrance I would wear on a romantic date. It smells predominantly of roses, and settles down to a warm musky scent with a hint of citrus. I literally smell like a garden of roses... lovin' it!

By the way, it is pretty long lasting on me, lingers on and on for (5 to 6) hours. Thumbs up!


pureDKNY A Drop of Rose flacon takes the shape of a drop(let) - simple, sleek and elegant.

The glass and aluminium components of the flacon are 100% recyclable, while the carton box packaging is bio-degradable.

Play Seductive with Playboy VIP Fragrances!

The fragrance I use, depends on my mood... and the place I am heading to. If I'm heading to the club, I'll naturally feel a lil' flirty... and I won't go wrong with the new fragrance by Playboy.


Playboy launches their very 1st fragrance duo, VIP For Him and For Her. 






I love the scent on me. Playboy VIP For Her smells very womanly, sensual, and definitely seductive. It is a floral fragrance with an enchanting musky base, bursting with initial fruitiness. 

Being an eau de toilette (edt), it usually last for about 3 hours (at most) before the need to respritz. 


VIP For Her flacon is a round glass bottle, with the signature black rabbit ears as the hat cap. The gold bow tie does enhance the overall bottle design.


As for the men, the fragrance smells slightly sweeter b'coz of the white chocolate ingredient (base note). Regardless, it still smells manly. 

I passed the fragrance to my bro. Ironically, he prefers VIP For Her (lol). I think VIP For Him is a lil' sweet for his liking. Hmm...


VIP For Him flacon is a simple design glass bottle, which is a reminiscence of hip flask (small metal container for alcohol).

The Body Shop White Musk EDT

Not long ago, I received a pleasant surprise from The Body Shop, their best-selling White Musk fragrance. Oh, I did notice something different...

White Musk EDT 
A soft and velvety signature scent for every woman, for every moment. Forever sensual. Eau de toilettes are the most popular form of fragrance, and are lighter than eau de parfums.

Top Notes: velvety musk, floral lily and sensual ylang ylang with hints of fresh galbanum and basil
Heart Notes: velvety musk, oriental jasmine, floral lily and rose
Base Notes: velvety musk, oriental jasmine, floral lily and iris, rose, sweet vanilla, fresh amber, patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver with hints of fruity peach

Price: $28.90 / 30ml

And so, the White Musk fragrance had a change of packaging. I must say, the newly revamped bottle looks stylish chic as compared to the old one. Agree?

It is a lovely revisit of this fragrance, which I'd tried years ago. It still smells the same IMO - velvety soft and musky. It is a clean and comforting scent which I adore very much. The initial scent is soft and sensual, then it gets a lil' feminine floral and gradually settles into a warm musky scent that lingers on my skin thereafter. FYI, the EDT lasts about 2 hours on me.

White Musk is truly a timeless classic scent. Simple yet elegant. It is no wonder that it is on the list of The Body Shop 10 Most Loved Products.
