Mary Kay "One Woman Can Beauty Contest 2013"

To commemorate Mary Kay’s 50th anniversary, Mary Kay Singapore, together with other Asia Pacific regions have kick-started the "One Woman Can Beauty Contest 2013". 


If you are interested in taking part. Here's what you need to do:

3. Get votes online. The more votes, you get, the higher your chance of winning.

The lucky 5 finalists will go on an all-expenses paid, 4D3N trip to Hong Kong to compete against other Asia Pacific winners to achieve the coveted "Mary Kay Asia Cover Girl" title.

Mary Kay Event: Introducing Timewise Plus+

We all know that skin aging is inevitable. The least we can do, is to use anti-aging skincare, in an attempt to look younger than our real age.

Back in Oct (last year), I had the opportunity to find out more about Timewise Plus+, this scientically innovative skincare by Mary Kay.

Mary Kay Timewise Plus+ is developed to minimize the advanced signs of skin aging, helping the skin to restore its youthfulness.

According to Mary Kay, there are 2 ways that hyaluronic acid can be added to skin.

• add hyaluronic acid to a product formula and apply it topically so that it can sit on skin and attract vital moisture
• via Regena-Firm Complex - by helping to promote the production of hylauronic acid so that skin is able to attract, collect and hold onto moisture. This help to boost skin volume and create a 'plumping effect'.

For the eyes, we have the Timewise Plus+ Regena-Firm Correcting Eye Cream ($105). It contains liquid crystals to illuminate (brighten) the eye area. The texture is pretty rich, which is normal for an anti-aging eye cream. Once absorbed into skin, it doesn't leave any greasy/sticky feel. My eyes are visibly lifted after massaging the product. Serious!

Notice the Korean wordings on the product tube? Timewise Plus+ is made in Korea! Happy to know that since I simply love made-in-Korea stuff (and men) :P

As for the face, we have the Timewise Plus+ Regena-Firm Intensive Serum ($195). It has an initial alcohol scent that dissipates once it is absorbed into skin. It absorbs easily and fast, in less than a min.

Mary Kay's beauty product range is quite extensive, be it skincare or makeup.

Last month, I attended the launch event of Mary Kay Botanical Effects™ Skin Care. This new skin care line harnesses the power of Mother Nature. The products perfectly complement one another to help bring out the skin's healthy radiance and leaving it feeling balanced.
