Orange-Red Hair Color, All Ready for CNY!

I started with ash brown/pastel blue & green, then ash brown/purple, and back to the basic light ash brown. As much as I like my light ash brown hair, I felt the need to change. Since CNY is round the corner, I decided that I shall go full-on red (orange-red to be precise). 


Arrived at Shunji Matsuo 313 before noon... all ready for my new hair color!

It was time for hair treatment after hair-coloring. Instead of the Curement Herbal treatment, I was given the Matrix Color Bloom Bioservice, to keep my hair color shiny and vibrant.

By the way, I told Caely that I wanted the red to be as bright as the model's hair (in the above pic). My wish was granted ♥

I'm Back to Basics!

Last month, I decided to forgo loud colors on my hair. It was a wise decision after all.

It was an obvious bad-bad hair day for me. I need to do something to my hair...

Me, at Shunji Matsuo 313 (my hair sponsor), for my much needed hair fix.

I told Caely that I wanted light ash brown hair color plus a hair trim. No (hair) bangs for me this time. The session ended with their latest Curement Herbal (organic hair) treatment.

The organic hair treatment was indeed a pampering treat. Just look at my hair, that healthy shine! Not only that, I could run my fingers through my hair with absolute ease. My hair was that smooth and silky :P

From Blue/Green to Purple... Lovin' it!

I was mentioning that I'll be getting a new hair color before my birthday. Well, not entirely new. My hair is still predominantly ash brown, while the accent color is changed. No more blue and green. Hmm... I'm kinda missing these attention-seeking colors :X

And hey, I'm back to my bangs! If only... they can stay this length forever.

This is how the (purple) accent color looks, freshly dyed. It looks way better IRL, stunning beyond words. 

It's really hard to capture the actual color in photos! =__=zzzz...

And, it so happens that my eyes are purple... NOT (lol).

I'm wondering what should I do to my hair next... go even shorter? Maybe...

Hair Color by Caely: Ash Brown + Pastel Blue & Green

I love trying different hair colors. It's quite fun, seeing fun colors on my hair instead of the usual browns. I wanted a color that I've never tried before, which is blue (one of my lucky colors). 

Caely asked what color(s) I want and I told her 'a mix of blue & purple'. She suggested blue & green, which is a better color contrast. 

I like how my hair color turned out in the end - ash brown with patches of pastel blue & green at the sides. Only the pastel blue & green parts are bleached first, to bring out the colors. 

Love the alternate blues and greens!

This side is more of an ombre feel. Alternate two-toned locks, which brings attention to the longer side of the asymmetrical bob.

This hair color combination is loud enough for me. I can't imagine going fully blue & green :S

Anyway, it has been almost a month already. I'm thinking of doing a new hair color before my birthday next week... most likely is lavender ash! :P

My Haircut Experience at Shunji Matsuo Hair Salon @ 313

After much thought and deliberation, I decided to go short (again). Thanks to Irene, I had my haircut at Shunji Matsuo Hair Salon @ 313 for the very first time.

After some trimming here and there, here's my new hairstyle created by Caely Tham (International Director of Shunji Matsuo Hair Salon @ 313). I'm lovin' it! I've received many compliments so far :P

My hair is not flat and lifeless anymore! Woohoo!~

I especially like the back part - very creative of Caely! I am in awe.

The new hairstyle brought "life" to my faded (but still looking good) hair color. 

Hmm... I seriously think I look so much younger with this new hairstyle. Don't ya agree? (;

The asymmetrical bob frames my face perfectly, making it look visually slimmer. The bangs are not too short, which end nicely at the brow area. Perfectly perfect.
