LOTD: MAC is ♥

I really really REALLY love this MAC Smooth Merge MSF alot. It just gives me that beautiful subtle shimmery glow, which I adore pretty much. Some might dislike it b'coz it might be too shimmery for their likin'. Well, to each his her own.

This LOTD is sans e/s. Another product I'm lovin' so much is the MAC Glaze Lipstick (Hue). The reason is simple. It gives me super pretty soft pink lips, which doesn't wash me out at all. I sincerely think it looks good on me :p *smug-faced* Heh. Ahh.. the near perfection.

It's one of those "happy camwhorin' days" minus the irritatin' pimple of coz. So easily spotted :/

Anyway, I used Ginvera Nude Cover BB Cream SPF30/PA++ I reviewed earlier on. FYI, I didn't use concealer in this LOTD.

Tony & Tina Herbal Environmental Protector Pressed Powder (Translucent) was used to set the foundation. The powder is so fine and I love that it's translucent! Doesn't cause any cakiness as well. It's sad that it isn't available anymore.

As for my eyebrow, I was using a eyebrow powder sponge applicator pen I got from Daiso (sometime ago). The color was pretty near to my hair color. I used MAC Dual Edge Eye Pencil in Black Funk/Pop Blue (only the black) to line my eyes. I love true black eyeliners!

Dior DiorShow Extase Mascara, just 1 coat. I quite like it. Good for lengthening and defining lashes, not for volumizing definitely. It doesn't hold curls well. Well, definitely not the best lengthening mascara I've used so far. For the high price tag, there're clearly better alternatives.

More photos of me (as usual)..

A random photo of my side profile.

Okay, I'm done. Thanks for looking! (:

In the mood to HAUL

A collective haul post of random buys, taking note of what I've in my stash.

MAC Gaga Viva Glam 2 lipstick & lipglass.

MAC Pink Cult Blush from Jeanius collection.

The Body Shop haul, mainly necessities.

Not all are mine though.

1 each for me & my siblings. The Body Shop Organic Cotton Rounds (x100).

The Body Shop Pink Bath Gloves, which was requested by my sis.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit Soap for me. Smells heavenly!

The Body Shop Seaweed range skincare products belong to my bro. Here's the Seaweed Clarifying Toner for Combination/Oily Skin.

Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF15.

Love this Slanted Tweezers I'd gotten. It's not easy to find good tweezers (sharp & precise) as most don't do a good job of getting rid of stray brow hairs. I'm glad to find one that's not so EX! The most pricey one I'd gotten so far is the Sephora Illuminating Tweezer which is no longer available. That cost me $33 I think, but it works well for me anyway. Hmm I find that the battery life is super awesome as I haven't been changing it for years though I've spare ones. Reading those reviews make me wonder why some complain that the battery life is poor? I love everything about the Sephora one (esp. the light & magnifying mirror) except...... YES, the price tag.

And recently, there was a newly launched limited edition makeup collection - "Brush with Fashion" in collaboration with London College of Fashion. I picked up only 2 items.

Tailored Cheek Tint, which I thought was pretty interesting. It is a clear gel, which magically transforms on the skin into a pink blush suited to the skin tone.

Limited Collection For Eyes 02 A La Mode, which I prefer much better than 01 Boho Beauty (I do like the shimmery apricot shade on the top left though).

The pigmentation is seriously awesome much esp. the pretty silver color! I wonder if it's sold out island-wide yet? Coz it's sold out at some outlets.

That rounds up my lil' TBS haul.

"Hidden" at B1 Liang Court is a lil' treasure cove for budget beauties. It's like a mini version of Daiso as the stuff there are all $2 each.

The shop is called "Nanairo", which sells mainly Japanese foodstuff, stationeries, hair accessories, etc. Of coz not forgetting $2 makeup!

All these for $14 only. If you are new to makeup, maybe you'll like to try these for a start 1st?

AC Silver Lip Gloss 08. The color looks beigey nude as shown from the photo.

Actually, it's more of a shimmery gloss with not much pigmentation. Don't expect much since it's only $2. I love the sweet honey smell though, which I expected to be a cheap plasticky smell initially.

One side with gloss.

Close-up.

Shimmery orange but color doesn't show up on my lips. Looks just like clear shimmery gloss on me -.-

Bare lips :s

See what I mean?

Not much difference between these 2 glosses on my lips :s

Hmm the lip glosses doesn't feel sticky but tad oily feel somehow. Doesn't really bother me much, since I bought 'em just to try out. Doesn't dry the lips. If you prefer non-pigmented shimmery glosses, you might wanna give it a try since it's just $2.

Ok, AC Eyebrow pencil (BK). I bought it coz I mistook it for an eyeliner -.-

Here's the swatch.

AC eyeshadow palettes 01 and 06.

AC Highlighter Powder 01. Chantana bought this as well :D

Now for other random stuff I'd bought.

Bought these Daiso Layered Eyeshadow Palettes from Jerlaine at $2.80 each (I think), inclusive of normal postage. Fun to try out, that's why I bought 'em (;

A pretty lil' polka dot tote I'd got from a Japanese magazine purchase. My gf, Serene, bought it and whatsapped me this photo. I just had to get it since there was 20% discount for Kinokuniya card members at that point of time. HAPPY! :3

At the same time, I whatsapped her and ask which color (black/grey) should I get. A FREE Roxy dress with purchase of CLEO magazine. It's not the local CLEO I'm talking about (:

In the end, I bought the grey one!

That's all for my haul entry. Thanks for reading! (:

Dated Collective Hauls Part 2

Here's Part 2 of my dated collective hauls. CLICK HERE for Part 1.

I bought these Sally Hansen Diamond Strength nail polishes at Watsons since there was a promotion going on ($9.90 instead of the usual $13.90). Now, you can still purchase at this discounted price as the promotion is back ! Oh I especially love the shimmery one as it gives my nails a super high-shine shimmery finish (think gel nails). My gf who's super good in doing nails, loves this as well :p

Product Description (website):

  • Diamond Strength: Instantly bonds with nails to provide a shatterproof, diamond hard protective coating that virtually ends splitting, cracking and peeling.
  • Diamond Shine: Light-refractive diamond particles go beyond ordinary lacquer to produce a multi-dimensional faceted shine.
  • Diamond Wear: Long-lasting color is chip-resistant, fade-resistant and waterproof.
  • Special Ingredients: Exclusive micro-diamond formula guarantees a brilliant, multi-faceted shine!
  • Available in 36 shiny shades.

Majolica Majorca Eyes Reset Gel is a fragrance-free eye makeup remover that dissolve and remove any heavy makeup & stubborn waterproof mascara effectively and effortlessly. No additional cleansing required as it is formulated with treatment ingredients such as Vitamin E derivative and macadamia nut oil, which conditions the sensitive skin around eye area. This retails for only $9.90. I'll do a mini review soon (:

I've been a regular user of Neutrogena sheet masks and I love to purchase them @ Watsons for $1.95 (promotional price) each. Now they've revamped the mask design ! New 3D stretchable design, which can fit our face shape & contours perfectly. Sounds really good eh. Anyone tried yet ?

Another new addition to my nail polish collection, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polish (Jumpin' Jade).

Product description (website): One stroke application. One coat coverage. Perfectionist BrushTM delivers a fast, flawless application that dries to a shiny finish in 60 seconds. It dries in 60 seconds. Toluene, DBP, and Formaldehyde free. Special Ingredients: Exclusive formula with FlexiglassTM Complex for Strength and Brilliant Shine. Available in 32 irresistible shades !

Sana Make Essence Concealer. Cute packaging. Hmm I'll use it for my dark eye circles.

Updated: CLICK HERE (This concealer is meant to conceal wrinkles, not dark eye circles. Blur me, bought the wrong one. Thanks Anonymous Bosch !)

I've gotten this Ossion Mild Touch Detox Bubble Mask sample from The Sample Store. Never heard of this brand before. Btw it's from Korea and it sounds really promising, judging from what I've read on the website. Anyway, shall try it out !

CLEO magazine freebies (: Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate sachet sample and Whisper Nights Super Long Overnights Pad. Hmm I've tried the pad and what I can say is it's really SUPER LONG !! I felt as if I was wearing adult diaper (mini version), super uncomfortable -__-" I'll never buy this for sure.

This Sana PorePutty Make Up Base SPF17/PA++ was bought at John Little. It claims to create even-looking skin, by covering the visible pores. Foundation application is made easier. It contains silicon and sebum-absorbing powder. Is it really that good ?

Ignore the $4.90 price tags. I bought these @ 2 for $1 !! ;D

The store-wide $2 store, Daiso ! I bought this to hold my eyeliners.

These are for storing makeup/nail polishes ?

Hmm these are either for brushes or more eyeliners.. or prolly mascaras ?

I bought these to complement my face cleansing. I haven't use the wash net yet. The face cleansing brush bristles seem to be a lil' harsh on my skin. Maybe I'll just use it to brush my neck area only.

Compact laundry bag, I really need this (lol).

I love this Tohato Caramel Corn snack alot !! Do try it, and get addicted like I do :p I can easily finish one whole packet on my own.

Organic Cotton rounds and pads from The Body Shop. They retail for about $2+ or $3+ I think, very affordable !

Hmm more cleansing stuff ! I think my face is very "dirty" :x The Body Shop Soft Facial Cleansing Sponge and Facial Buffer.

I saw this The Body Shop Autumn Leaves Compact on several blogs.. and I got tempted.. I wanted to get both initially but I end up getting just this Berry one. The swatches are beautiful, remind me of MAC MSF. Hmm but.. one thing I notice about The Body Shop makeup, they break too easily ! This was what happened to my bronzer compact and eyeshadow :,( Or is it just me ?

I bought this pair of fake lashes @ $4.90 I think, after I saw the salesgirl wearing 'em. Sooo nice !

I like to buy nail polishes at The Face Shop as the price is very affordable $2.90 ! I've almost every color available :p

I used to dislike yellow color. Hmm I still dislike orange color though. Very random, I know hahas xD

Base nail polish. Shit, I forgot I've one at home :/

Canmake Colorful nail polish, my favourite pink ! See the pretty shimmers !

Beauty magazine from Kinokuniya. It helps that I love reading Chinese :D

CLEO magazine. I don't really like this particular month magazine front cover color combination and featured celebrity :S

It's a Japanese magazine 'SWEET' and I can't read hahas xD

Quite a small but pretty Anna Sui bag.

I like the Anna Sui pouch color & floral design. Both are well-made, considering they are freebies.

Women's Weekly with free Phyto Restructuring Mask. I simply love good deals like this, plus I enjoy reading this magazine ! Usually, I'll twitter about it when I chance upon magazine freebie(s).

I got this Biore Makeup Remover (for Eye & Lip) sample but yet to try yet. So far its reviews are good, from what I've gathered from most beauty blogs.

More haul posts to be up. Any queries, feel free to ask me :D
