(Cozycot) Talika Bloggers Event - Longer, Curlier, Darker in 28 days

I was invited to the Talika Bloggers Event by Cozycot, held at The SPA-Lon @ Chijmes last Saturday. 

Talika has been the expert in eyelash care since 1948, way before most of us were born ! over 4 million units (Talika Lipocils) have been sold over the last 10 years (since year 2000) ! It is also tested and proven that Lipocils extends the eyelashes by up to 2.4mm in just 1 month !

This is the star product that Talika has launched. Lipocils Expert, the first complete care for eyelashes with 3 complementary actions, namely:

EXTEND (Longer eyelashes)

Lipocils Expert contains 12 plant extracts that have already been tried and tested in the original Lipocils (including nettle, hamamelis and apple).

Restores Color (More intense)

Eyelash color is protected and the synthesis of natural lash color is stimulated by a brand new anti-ageing synergy of UV-phytofilters and Coleus Forskholii.

Curl (Say goodbye to eyelash curler)

Formula is enriched with silk proteins.

I was given a tube of this to review (YEAH~ ^^) This is really a very promising product as I've used the original Talika Lipocils before. This new Lipocils Expert is a combination of the original versions. Why do I say that ?

This is the first Lipocils I used years ago. The applicator is just a tip for applying the gel to the lash roots.

Then, I got this. This time, the tip is replaced by a brush for evenly applying the gel to the eyelashes.

Now, they "combined forces" :x This exclusively designed Lipocils Expert becomes a double applicator ! Hence the eyelashes are cared for from roots right through to the tips (:

In short, Lipocils Expert promises Longer +4mm, Curlier +50%, Darker +50% eyelashes in 28 days ! Clinically Proven :D

How to use
Just apply to the root of clean lashes before applying mascara for one month in the morning and evening, followed by once a day all year round. BUT.. it is advisable to discard this product after 2 months use (even if haven't finish using =.=) simply because of hygiene purposes.

this is my very 1st black lipgloss ! i'm so loving it, really ! this is the M0 Onyx (semi-opaque black with silver shimmer bits) Lab Shine Metal Collection.

what i like about this lipgloss:

• the color of course
• pleasant sweet fruity scent
• non-sticky texture
• moisturize lips
• doesn't stain lips
• juicy plumped lips
• not over shimmery or glossy

 

hmm there's nothing i dislike (i'm easily contented eh). maybe the price ? $35!

Of Food, Chill-out, Camwhore & LOTD: Flamboyant Smoke Siren

this was my eye makeup i did @ L'oreal HIP Bloggers Party Event, using the HIP testers provided :D oh, this picture was taken about 12 hours later after the event ended. my eye makeup still looks pretty fine yea :p i didn't really touch up much, can y'all believe it ? i was too amazed !

pardon my bloodshot eyes -.- i wasn't feeling well that day, due to drinking water drank by my 2 "lovely" colleagues - Mr NL & Mr PRQ !! a fantastic combination of cold + sore throat T^T

fyi, i didn't use a eye primer.

as seen, there was creasing at the outer corner of the eye area. inevitable i guess, since i was out for more than 12 hours. other than that, i was quite pleased with the color payoff and intensity of the shadow duos as well as eyeliners.

late night dinner/supper with my sis & her friend @ Clarke Quay after watching a horrible movie "DEVIL". pls DO NOT watch !

traumatizing moment of the night @ Clarke Quay ! we were approached by 2 lusty-looking men (chinese, mid 30s in office attires) and they asked if they could join us for drinks or whatsoever =_=" i nearly want to faint, seriously. i wonder where they got the courage to approach us or did they think we were some young blur girls they could take advantage of ! >;/ there were another 2 (chinese, indian, mid 30s in office attires) at the back, looking sheepishly at us. i, being the oldest just replied, "no, it's ok." i turned around & walked the opposite direction after telling the girls to find another place to have our dinner/supper !

we settled at this restaurant, called Hot Stones. there was a midnight promotion going on, 50% off their hot stone main courses.

the hot stone xD we are supposed to cook our food on it.

black angus beef sirloin steak $48 before discount.

seafood deluxe set (scallops, king prawn, salmon steak) $38 before discount.

both comes with salad (not nice).

can choose a side as well for each set (potato wedges/garlic rice/mashed potato).

hmm, so we chose potato wedges and garlic rice. overall, i find the food to be quite tasty actually BUT if no 50% discount, i definitely won't visit again because it's too expensive for such small food portions !

after which, the girls wanted sheesha (i've absolutely no interest at all).

this is my lil' sis.

hmm i look like i can doze off at any moment =.=
