Bio-essence Bio Spring Water

Bio-essence has jumped on the facial mist bandwagon recently, naming theirs "Bio Spring Water". According to them, this Miracle Bio Water has 20 excellent efficacies (for face, hair and body), and is ideal for sensitive skin. 


Backing up their claims, they have this exchange policy if you don't experience instant results after initial use.


It is available in 3 sizes >> 25ml - $5.90, 100ml - $12.90, 300ml - $28.90.

The one I received for review is in 100ml and another 3 bottles of 25ml are for giveaway.


I had a really hard time opening up the cap. Luckily, it was a one-off thing.

How to use?
Hold the bottle at a distance at least 20 cm away from your face/hair/body and spray. Pat it dry gently.

***NOTE: No need to pat dry after makeup.***

Bio-essence Bio Spring Water is not my 1st bottle of facial mist. So far, I've used brands like Avène, Vichy, La Roche-Posay (just to name a few). And, I usually go for the biggest bottles available (especially when they are on offer! heh).

I think Bio-essence Bio Spring Water works pretty well for me. Oh, I really like how it dispenses finely and evenly (see pic above). 

It soothes and calms irritated skin (my dry and sensitive legs) well. As for my face, I use it in place of toner (not on a daily basis). It does make my skin look slightly brighter thereafter. And, my pores look smaller and slightly refined. I don't think it's illusion (lol). Anyway, the results are temporary. 

I like to spray this on after powder foundation, as it will make my face look naturally dewy instead of powdery.  It helps when it feels quite refreshing, especially when the weather is hot and humid. Speaking of which, Singapore's weather is nothing like that nowadays. I'm enjoying the cool weather so much (reminds me of HK) and hope it stays this way *fingers crossed*

I digress. Well, I tried using it on my hair-ends, and was quite surprised it does tame them quite well. They look less dry and wavy. Hmm... as for the other efficacies listed, they are for your reference. My skin certainly did not get firmer after using it.

Bio-essence Shape V Face Challenge with Xiao Kai Lao Shi 小凱老師

This was my 1st time participating in Bio-essence 100-ppl Challenge. And, I registered with the clear intention of meeting Xiao Kai Lao Shi 小凱老師 in person. My wish was granted with a lovely bonus: taking photo with him! V.memorable moment indeed.. *grins*

I went there bare-faced.. and regretted when I saw Catherine with makeup -.-

And so, I decided to do my makeup on the spot. Nothing new. I'm very used to putting on makeup in the public.

The headband was too small for my head. The BA had a hard time putting on the headband on me while I nearly teared coz it was sooo painful.. :s

Prince Charming decked in white, arrived!

Hmm.. while we got skin-pampering from the allocated BAs.. >.<~~

Had the opportunity to have this lovely photo taken with Taiwanese Beauty Guru Xiao Kai Lao Shi 小凱老師 (Many thanks to Catherine!).. ^.^ OMG he's super tall (1.87m!!!!!!) AND super handsome in real life! V.photogenic as well.. Was uber excited to be so close to him! I could literally feel my heart beating sooo fast!

To be honest, the trial kit isn't enough for me to see substantial results. I've been using predominantly on my tummy area for more than a week and it's still.. erm.. bulging. There's wee bit loss of prolly about 1cm? Not bad, since I didn't do any exercise and eat as per normal. I do feel that my shorts aren't as tight as before. A little goes a long way?

I like using the Celebrity’s Choice InchLoss Shower Scrub, coz of the pleasant fruity scent and that it's gentle on the skin. And, it helps in exfoliating my skin, making it softer and smoother. There's slight burning sensation which is pretty much tolerable.

As for the Celebrity’s Choice InchLoss Body Cream Extra Strength, the burning sensation is kinda too strong for me. Too hot for me to handle! I could literally sing-along Sean Kingston's "Fire Burning" song =.=~~ *fire burning.. fire burning..* Maybe, I've too much fats to burn. Confirm! :/ And, my skin feels slightly itchy. Ya, this shows that the product is working to burn my fats. And, I notice most of the slimming products do have this hot & itchy sensation. This, I don't really like. But for beauty sake.. N-O  C-H-O-I-C-E.

Just a word of precaution, pls keep your hands away from your eyes after using the cream. IT STINGS BADLY! Like real bad.
