SexyLook Rice Extract Micro Inject Mask

One of my fave mask brands - SexyLook, has recently launched their latest technology from Japan - Micro Inject Series. This Micro Inject Invincible Mask is the latest technology from Japan!

The ergonomic design of the mask sheet coupled with the skin-friendly natural fibre, help ensure maximum penetration of the rich essence. And, the unique hydronet helps plump up skin moisture while giving it a firming effect. Skin will feel soft and supple after use. Sounds pretty good yea?

There are 3 variants in this Micro Inject Series, namely:- Rice Extract, Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera.

I was sent the Rice Extract variant for review as my skin feels really dehydrated nowadays. Not to mention, the nasty breakouts on the sides of my forehead due to work stress... *sigh* 

SexyLook Rice Extract Micro Inject Mask 
Specially formulated with rice, yeast and sake kasu extract for deep moisturising, hydrating and skin reviving. It helps to boost skin's youthfulness, reduces the appearance of fine lines, keeping skin fresh and energized.

As shown, the mask sheet is incredibly thin and translucent. It does not tear easily though.

The light-weight cottony-soft mask sheet is slightly stretchy, adhering to my skin really well. 

The mask sheet contains 30g of essence. 

I leave it on for slightly past 15mins. As usual, I pat the skin gently after removing mask to enable the rich essence to be absorbed faster. In my opinion, the essence does feel slightly sticky initially. That being said, it absorbs into the skin easily and fast, leaving the skin feel adequately moisturized sans stickiness thereafter. 

Deep whitening skincare products usually cause my skin to feel irritated but this feels otherwise. Honestly speaking, I cannot feel that there is any firming effect after using this mask. Overall, I do enjoy using this mask because it is so soothing and hydrating. Go try the mask for yourself!

SexyLook Organic Aloe Power Soothing 4D Duo Lifting Mask

Besides the launch of LoveMore's eye mask series, SexyLook also launched a brand new series of 4D Duo Lifting Mask! There are 4 variants to choose from, namely:- Organic Aloe Power Soothing (moisturizing), Escargot Extract Intense Healing (repairing), Pure Ocean Pearl Whitening (rejuvenating), Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydrating (anti-wrinkle).

Based on my current skin condition, I was sent the Organic Aloe Power Soothing variant for review.

SexyLook Organic Aloe Power Soothing 4D Duo Lifting Mask is infused with organic aloe vera extract and Indian pennywarts extract for anti-inflammatory effect to soothe irritated skin. It is also topped with marine collagen to ensure that the skin is moisturized all day long.

It is well soaked with 30ml of NCHA (Natural Certified Hyaluronic Acid) infused essence, but it does not feel too wet when removed from the sachet.

The ergonomic double lifting design is said to help maximize essence absorption. This way, the essence penetrates deeper to keep skin hydrated for a longer period of time.

The new 4D double-lifting (100% cotton and elastic fibre woven) mask is distinctively more elastic, with a nice springy texture. The mask material feels smoother, thicker and sturdier than the ones I've tried in the past. The slight thickness does not mean that the comfort level is compromised. It actually feels comfy having the mask on, not too tight. 

Its high elasticity enables me to stretch the mask effortlessly for it to better adhere to the skin... except for the nose part. It comes with ear-hooks, also to help with better skin adherance and preventing the mask from falling off (when I multi-task).

My current skin type is combination/dry (sensitive) - internally dry, externally oily. And, that includes visible pores. So when it comes to face masks, I usually prefer hydrating and soothing ones like this, which is infused with aloe vera extract. Anything aloe vera, is always good for the skin :D

15mins is what it takes to soothe, hydrate and rejuvenate my skin. After removing the mask, I gently pat the skin using fingers, massaging the remaining essence so that it gets absorbed fast. As usual, there is no need to rinse the face after mask-ing.

My skin feels so soft, smooth and supple. No sticky feel or whatsoever. I feel that there is a slight firming effect. Just slightly. And, I notice that my pores and fine lines become visibly smaller... almost out of sight.

I am not sure if you can tell from the images above, my skin looks somewhat glowy after mask-ing. You gotta try this awesome mask to witness its effectiveness... really good for your skin!

Sexylook Intensive Repairing Black Cotton Mask

Happy mid-week! I'm here to share my thoughts on yet another black mask - Sexylook Intensive Repairing Black Cotton Mask. Sounds familiar much? CLICK HERE for my review on the Moisturizing variant.

This Intensive Repairing Black Cotton Mask fights against aging with european beech while the obsidian extract (from volcanic minerals) promotes skin regeneration and mineralization for healthy and moisturized skin.

This is how the mask looks like, when removed from the sachet. 

Like the Moisturizing variant, the mask material is thin and super duper soft. Fyi, it is made of skin-friendly pure pulp cotton, infused with activated carbon. The mask does not come with a plastic insert, hence unfolding it does require some care and patience.

The cutting is still weird. Well, never mind about that since it adheres rather well. 

After removing the mask after leaving on for 20mins, I notice an instant natural glow on my skin. The essence does not feel slimy, and gets absorbed into skin very quickly. My skin feels and looks rejuvenated - radiant, well hydrated, less visible pores!

Sexylook Intensive Moisturizing Black Cotton Mask

I haven't been mask-ing that regularly of late. That means, at least 3 times a week. Well, I do make sure that I mask at least once a week. 

Some time back, I received this Sexylook Intensive Moisturizing Black Cotton Mask along with LoveMore French Caviar Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Mask from Secretive.sg.

Effects:

Far Infrared releasing with activated carbon – absorbs dirt, excessive sebum and refines pores. Rehydrates and repairs skin for a natural glowing complexion. Rich in vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidant, ocean nurtured black pearl moisturizes skin for a satin-soft touch and pearl-like radiance!

Earlier on, I'd reviewed something similar (but more expensive) - Bihada Ichizoku Kurobarakamen Sheet Mask. That's for brightening, whereas this is for intensive moisturizing (I LIKE!!!!~).

These new Sexylook Intensive Care Black Cotton Mask comes in 3 variants:- Moisturizing, Repairing, Whitening. And, they are sold individually at $3.50 each. Price-wise, they are higher than the usual sheet masks.

The main ingredients of this mask are activated carbon-infused blackcurrant extract, red rose extract and obsidian extract. 

The mask material is super duper soft. I had difficulty opening up the essence-soaked mask to apply on my face. The cutting is kinda weird especially at the eye and mouth area. Too big eh.

Regardless, the mask does fit snugly on the face. Hmm... it looks like seaweed to me, no? lol

As you can see, the mask is thin. It doesn't tear easily though. 

I leave on the mask for about 20mins. It was still moist when I remove it. The mask essence doesn't feel sticky, which gets absorbed into skin pretty fast. Like most sheet masks, there's no need to rinse after mask-ing. 

What I like about the mask is that it really moisturizes my face intensively and is able to soothe the redness on my skin. It's like a quick detox session for the skin as the carbon helps in clarifying. My skin looks brightened, though the effect is pretty much temporary. There's no stinging sensation or whatsoever. I think it's a pretty good mask and definitely recommend this to those looking for an effective moisturizing mask.

SexyLook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask

I just had a skin pampering session, using SexyLook Extreme Whitening Duo Lifting Mask. It always feel good to mask after a long day of work. Weekdays, I mean. 

This mask sounds like a luxury much? Black Pearl + White Truffle extracts!

The mask material is neither thin nor flimsy, strong enough for me to slightly stretch the mask to fit my face without any tears. 

I do find that the mask size runs a lil' small for my big face. In my opinion, its "not-so-stretchable" feature does help to enhance the firming and lifting effects somehow. Despite that, it doesn't feel uncomfortably tight on me. 

The mask feels so soothing on the skin. And, it has this light sweet floral scent, which puts me on a relaxed mode.

Though the essence has a slightly viscous consistency, it doesn't take long for the essence to be fully absorbed. That is, after I pat the essence gently after mask removal. A minute at most. The initial sticky feel is all gone by then. My skin feels well-hydrated, and looks more radiant than before. I notice my pores are visibly minimized. Overall, I think it's good enough for me to repurchase in future.

SexyLook Hello Kitty Strawberry Perfect Hydrating Mask

This set of super kawaii Hello Kitty masks had finally arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I'm a sucker for cute & pretty packaging. I mean, most girls ladies can't resist temptations like this... no? hehehe~ ;P

The newly launched SexyLook Hello Kitty Strawberry Perfect Hydrating Mask >> perfect killer combination of Hello Kitty + strawberries + polka dots.

The mask sheet is very thin and translucent. It was dripping wet with essence.

There's a lot of essence left-over in the sachet, which I apply on my legs and arms. The essence is very-very watery and smells like sweet strawberries... not overwhelming... smells yummilicious-ly good! ♥

The mask adheres and fits my face pretty well. Although the mask sheet is very thin, it doesn't tear easily (if used cautiously). I find it fairly easy to put on the mask. Well, at least easier than I thought.

I leave the mask on for 15mins. The mask feels cooling and comfy on the skin. There's no stinging sensation or whatsoever.

After removing the mask, I pat the skin gently for the essence to be absorbed. The essence absorbs into the skin pretty fast, within 1-2 mins (I think). Zero stickiness!

Recently, I'm having really bad skin. The left side of my face is still okay... but the right *SIGH* 6 angry spots!! This mask is really soothing, which helps to calm the redness on my skin within just 15mins. The strawberry essence does help to tighten up my pores (as shown from the photo above). I like that it hydrates my skin very well. My skin definitely looks more radiant than before. A must-try for beauty addicts!
