SOTHYS - Launch of Lifeline (Fil de Vie) Energizing Line

Last month, I had the privilege to attend the launch of SOTHYS Lifeline (Fil de Vie) Energizing Line (held at 10 Scotts, Grand Hyatt Singapore).

Skin’s energy reserve is the source of glowing radiance that reveals natural beauty. As time goes by, it will start to deplete thus losing its radiance and begin to show signs of ageing.

Thanks to Sothys Advanced ResearchSothys developed a life buoy for skin with low or without energy - Lifeline (Fil de Vie™) Energizing Line. This intensive care programme works on the genes to optimize cell's energy reserve to maintain the glowing radiance and improve skin's resistance to the environment. A booster programme for all to restore skin's energy and radiance.

Star Ingredient - Siberian Ginseng is infused into this programme to illuminate the skin, revealing youthful and glowing complexion. Known for its adaptogenic properties, it has the ability to adapt its action to the body's needs. It also provides strength of its natural energy to resist different aggressions.

With Lifeline (Fil de Vie) Energizing Programme, your skin's energy reserves will be recharged and regenerated, revealing luminous and glowing skin at EVERY AGE!

That's me trying out the various cream textures :D

The Energizing Day Cream comes in light [normal to combination skin] and comfort [normal to dry skin] variants. I prefer the light variant as it is not as creamy as the comfort one and it absorbs into the skin faster too.

light, comfort, night

I've tried out both Energizing Comfort Day / Night Cream for about 2 weeks. Here are my initial thoughts on them:

Both have a pleasant floral scent that makes me feel relaxed while I massage the creams onto my face. After using the Day Cream, I find that my skin does look more radiant and youthful. As for the Night Cream, my skin looks less tired in the morning even though I slept barely 4hrs the night before. The texture of both are quite creamy, hence I just need a pea-size amount each for the face and neck. A little goes a long way.

A cup of coffee (and desserts) to perk me up!

And not forgetting... delicious canapés! :d~

Thank you, SOTHYS Singapore!

SOTHYS [W.]™+ Brightening Preparative Lotion

I've incorporated SOTHYS [W.]™+ Brightening Preparative Lotion into my daily skincare routine (day & night) for 2 months. To test the efficacy of the product, I use it religiously for 2 weeks, then stop for 2 weeks (and so on).

A fuss-free (opaque) plastic cylindrical container.

A treatment lotion formulated with H2CR® Cosmeceutic Complex[W.]™+ Complex and Prickly Pear Extract. Moisturizes, smooths, and imparts radiance to the complexion while preparing the skin for the following skincare.

How to use?

Apply with a cotton pad after cleansing and toning, onto face and neck (avoiding the eye contour).

The lotion is semi-opaque and has a very lightweight runny consistency. It melts into skin like a liquid, as it moisturizes and softens the skin. The pleasant soothing scent evokes a feeling of pure relaxation.

It doesn't feel greasy or sticky with aqua (water) being the main ingredient. It absorbs into the skin instantaneously, leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth to touch. My skin also looks slightly more radiant than before. So far, I'm liking this product as it does enhance the brightening and hydrating benefits of the skincare that I'm using. And, it doesn't cause me any skin irritations or breakouts.

Retails for $93 (200ml). A bottle can last for 2-3 months depending on your usage. If you want to maintain the results of your facial treatments, I'll recommend you to check out SOTHYS home care range.

Snips & Snaps

Hello! A random post of random stuff by the random me :D

"Who has the key to my frozen heart?"

Got this River Island (heart padlock) stud earring from ASOS, featured HERE.

Am into bright lips recently.

I'm using Maybelline Moisture Extreme 914 Iced Peach Tea, which I got during their sale (4 for $10 I think).

They've sales like these quite often. Best time to stock up. Heh.

TOP: Maybelline Moisture Extreme 914 Iced Peach Tea

BOTTOM: With Chanel Glossimer 109 Big Bang layered above (looks more "juicy" eh?)

Went for Sothys [W.]™+ Brightening Cosmeceutic Treatment (that I'd won in their FB contest), at La Vogue.

Relaxing foot spa before the treatment. *bliss*

The skin peeling didn't cause any skin irritation or whatsoever. My skin had become clearer, brighter & more radiant after the pampering facial treatment.

The therapist was really nice and friendly. No hard-selling involved.

She even gave me discount vouchers ($50 x 2). Let me know if you'll like to have the voucher.

Love this uber tasty giant seaweed! *YUMS* :d~

My sis friend got it from Korea!

My 1st time @ Piquenique.

This cup sure looks familiar... *scroll up*

Scrambled eggs with toast.

Scrambled eggs with english muffins.

Potatoes, sausages, mushrooms, etc.

I forgot to take a pic of my sausage bun with blue cheese & fries... =.=zzz

The sausage was super normal kind... so disappointed...

The blue cheese taste was super strong... overwhelming in fact!

I like the fries though... But anyway, I don't think I'll go there again...

Suki-ya steamboat lunch buffet.

Not much variety. Love the thinly sliced meat (pork, beef, chicken)!

Sukiyaki soup base - sweet, which I don't really like. Kimchi soup base - no kimchi taste!

Cheesy meatball! Super duper niceee! A must-try :d~ *drool*

In the past, magazines used to have these fragrance-scented ads... whereby you "lift" the strip up to sniff the fragrance...

Nostalgic much.

Have you bought the latest issue of CLEO? Not a fan of Selena Gomez...

Love the beauty content in the mag though!

My sis came back from a long US trip... Will feature her beauty hauls in another post (not much, according to her)...

Quite a fair bit, I would say.

Certainly not mine.

MINE! :D~

"Would you bear to eat this?"

Ending my random posts with my new eye-candies

Gong Yoo - "Coffee Prince"

He's got a nice bod :p

Almost all Korean stars have nice bods... Tall, at least 1.8m! Small eyes - major ! hehehe~

Park Shi Hoo - "Prosecutor Princess"

The K-drama that Chantana had asked me to watch.. b'coz I look like the female lead (Kim So Yeon)... more of the behavior, thinking... definitely not looks... She so skinny and pretty! Well, I finished watching! Nice show, I like (:

I keep aiyo-ing at her actions, behavior and thinking... very naive and such... Her character reminds me of ME!

The ending was good, I like! Heh. Ahh.. I like Park Shi Hoo's charming smile...
