Lactacyd: Caring for your V-Zone

Women spend a lot of time and money on skincare and haircare, yet neglecting the body's most intimate area -- V-zone (vaginal area). Proper V-zone care involves maintaining its natural acidity to keep it healthy. Using water alone is not enough. Many don't see the need of using a separate cleanser for the V-zone. A body wash, is what they think is good enough.

If you've been using a body wash to clean the V-zone, it's time to stop. Most body washes are alkaline in nature, which strip away the natural acidic protective layer of the V-zone. Sometimes, they even remove the natural oils from the sensitive external vaginal area, resulting in dryness and irritation. Good feminine hygiene will help prevent odour, irritation, infection...

That's when Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash comes into the picture. Formulated with lactic acid, it maintains the delicate pH balance of the V-zone. Together with lactoserum (natural milk extracts), it promotes the growth of good bacteria (lactobacillus acidophilus), to protect the vagina against infections. Lactoserum is also essential for moisturizing and nourishing the V-zone's delicate skin.

Thanks Lactacyd Singapore for sending me this big box of V-zone care necessities!

The set includes:-

  • Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash 250ml (x 3)
  • Lactacyd Daily Feminine Wipes 10s (x 2)
  • Bright Pink Gym Bag
  • Pump Dispenser

Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash

250ml - $11.90

The inclusion of a pump dispenser makes dispensing out the liquid much easier.

One pump is all you need. The feminine wash liquid looks similar to that of body wash, and it lathers well. It has a pleasant floral scent which sits well with me.

All along, I've been diligently using Lactacyd Intimate Daily Feminine Hygiene Wash as part of my V-zone care routine. Having a healthy V-zone is that important to me. I like how it cleanses the V-zone well (yet gentle on the delicate skin), keeping it clean and fresh 24/7.

Keeping the V-zone clean and fresh is especially important during the "time-of-the-month", as changing hormonal levels during this bloody period (pun intended) can make the V-zone more susceptible to bacterial or yeast infections. This applies to pregnancy and menopause as well.

It is gentle enough for everyday use.

Lactacyd Daily Feminine Wipes

3 packs of 10s - $4.95

These soft cotton feminine wipes are perfect for those on the go. I find 'em extremely useful and convenient when I'm out -- to keep the V-zone clean and fresh anytime, anywhere. It has a rinse-free formula which means no washing is needed thereafter. Just wipe and go! These feminine wipes are different from your usual wet tissues (meant for wiping face and hands), the latter being too alkaline for the V-zone. Use the designated feminine wipes for your delicate feminine area.
