I was among the privileged ones to attend Lancôme Visionnaire 1st Pre-view Event in Asia, thanks to Celine's invitation.
An elaborate yet confidential affair.
The event was held at an unconventional location - Redot Gallery.

The invention of Lancôme Visionnaire is Inspired by Nature.
The researchers discovered jasmonic acid, a“signal-molecule” for a plants' defence and healing processes. Jasmonic acid is produced when plants are damaged. This activates the healing of the damaged tissues, and also serves to make them more resistant.

And, we had a sneak preview of the upcoming Lancôme Fall 2011 Color Collection by Aaron De Mey - 29 St Honoré.

Created as a true work of art, this blush has all the allure of a pretty vintage postcard, telling the beautiful tale of Paris at the end of the 1940s. Its case is engraved with a golden plaque, reminiscent of the Capital's most distinguished addresses.
As for color, Aaron De Mey has created a universal harmony of tender rose, decorated with a delicate sprinkling of gold.
Aaron De Mey's tips:
"Blend the three shades with a brush, then use generous movements to sweep them up towards the temples, sculpting cheekbones and brightening the complexion."

Its four subtle, matt and iridescent shades effortlessly enhance eyes and define eyebrows. Everything a woman could ever need is contained within this precious case, its golden plaque recalling that outside the most prestigious Parisian address.
Aaron De Mey's tips:
"Use matt shades to sculpt the eyes, then the glistening shades to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, around the eyebrow arch or just at the centre of the eyelid. The eyeshadows are even more intense when moistened, making them perfect for lining eyes.
Applied using a small, bevelled brush, they can also subtly fill in and define eyebrows. Classic, simple and elegant...

The moment of truth. Hmm.. I need to look more into skin hydration. Relatively good skin, but far from perfect.
This is the retail size (30ml), $150.
The bottle draws its inspiration from a high-technology mix of glass and metal. A fusion of silver and malachite green, as if crossed by a laser beam.
My 1st impression of Visionnaire? A refreshing feeling upon application. A pleasant scent which goes well with me. The texture is slightly watery, which is easily absorbed into skin. No sticky feeling after which.
An exclusive Visionnaire lab sample, which I've been diligently use for a week or so. So far, I'm lovin' every bit of it. My complexion is getting better day by day. No joke.
I can now see why 2 out of 3 women tempted by a cosmetic procedure decided to postpone it! One can achieve skin perfection without having to go under the knife, just by using Visionnaire. It is that powerful!
