October, My Birthday Month ♥

Yes, October is my birthday month. I'm a true Libra girl *laughs*.

3rd October 2010, I officially turned 26. Hmm I've no qualms about revealing my age (:

For me, I don't usually like to celebrate my birthday (it simply just means i'm getting older -.-). However, it is still a very special day and I'll like to thank my late mum for going through the 9 torturous months to bring me to this world.

We ordered this @ Haagen Dazs to share since we were extremely full after having steamboat buffet @ Crystal Jade. $20, damn freaking expensive !

Mini celebration with my close friends on the actual day itself ♥

The beer was good (smooth fruity taste) ! This place is @ Vivocity.

We had this really super delicious seafood platter ($42++). Sooo juicy & fresh ! I wanna eat this again !

Smoked salmon. I like that it's not very salty as I find that most places' smoked salmon are too salty for my liking. Definitely fresh, and practically melts in my mouth :d~

Juicy succulent prawns. I can't get enough of 'em ! I ate extra coz' I'm the birthday girl :x See, they so nice to me !

Mussels which taste different from the usual ones I had (think Fish & Co, Manhattan Fish Market). The female ones are tastier & juicier than their male counterparts imo ! FYI, the females ones are the orangey ones.

Red claw crayfish. This is my first time eating and they are super damn good I tell you ! Try and get hooked immediately ! I was apprehensive at first coz I had no clue how to start eating 'em and primarily because I'd a red claw crayfish pet before -__-" Hmm..

Crab-meat (real) salad. Uber delicious, seriously ! The serving was too little :/

Even the bread taste good (speechless lol) ! The butter also xD

Erm.. but this cheesy white fish bait not so tasty. Hmm.. or is it because we were too full by then ?

Chunky fries with chilli crabmeat (real) sauce dip. I love the sauce not so much the fries ! Dip with fried mantous (buns) better :x

Dessert time ! Straight after dinner :p Another friend joined in, 1 of my girl friend headed home. He had this mango aiyu dessert.

My girl friend had black glutinous rice dessert.

Mine seemed to be a combination of theirs xD I still prefer the durian paste & black glutinous rice combination I had the previous time I went !

After dessert, we had supper @ Mustafa area. That was like my '4th' meal ? I was super full by then but I still ordered my all-time favourite egg plaster & teh-o. My guy friend ordered this giant chicken murtabak for only $7 to share ! Thank god he's a good eater (70% he ate) hahas ! After which, we did some "shopping". I didn't buy anything :p

This was my 1st meal that day with my other girl friend @ Imperial Treasure NAC.

We were very hungry and didn't wait long to get our seats (luckily). Ordered quite alot of dim sum. This is scallop chee cheong fun (rice flour rolls). I still prefer the prawn ones. This time, the rice flour skin wasn't that smooth & soft but still better as compared to others.

Fried prawn dumplings, best eaten with mayonnaise (fattening, I know). Normal good standard :D

Pipin' hot egg tarts which sent me to heaven (hahas so exaggerating !). Trust me, it's a must-try !

Lychee boat-style congee. It doesn't contain any lychee :x There's cuttlefish, fish, century egg in this congee. The taste is smooth. I love this type, not those grainy ones.

Har Gau (steamed prawn dumplings). The usual good standard ^^v

Siew mai, a bit salty but still tasty. Umm.. I don't know what it's called in English -.-

Char siew pau (BBQ pork buns). Must-try !

Custard buns, die-die must-try ! I've a weakness for these ! *winks @ Ladeekim*

And so, we managed to finish all these ! *clap clap* See the food I ate on my birthday ! So much right ?! No wonder I'm now so ROUND & FAT :'/

2 days before my birthday (another fattening day), Swisshotel Merchant Court Lunch Buffet treat by my boss. Overall,  the food quite ok but the variety quite limited. I prefer international buffet :x More variety hahas !

Love the salmon sashimi :D I ate quite a fair bit, but not that much I guess.

The desserts taste very normal, imo. BUT the (famous) durian pengat was super yummy ! So good that I had 2 big servings of that :p
