LOTD feat. Brigitte Romantic Makeup

Hmm... I noticed that my recent LOTDs have been pretty neutral, mainly browns. I haven't been using bright colors like orange, green, blue. Shall make a mental note to do so, in my next LOTD. 

The LOTD in this post, is yet another neutral brown... with a touch of gold.

Romantic Blush OR-1 Orange ($24.90) & Romantic Eyes GD-1 Gold Brown ($26.90)

Here's how the duo cheek color looks, swept across my cheek. I apply the orange-peach shade, followed by the light peach shade (to highlight). The duo shades blend seamlessly, creating a soft and natural look. The soft peachy orange shade is so niceeee! Right-right?



I apply the beige-brown shade over the lids, then the light pale gold shade to highlight the brow bone. Instead of eyeliner, I use the golden brown shade to define the eyes, and the dark brown shade at the outer end. To finish up the eye look, I apply Bonavoce Ultra Volume Mascara (to volumize my lashes).

Haraju-Cute Box - Brigitte

[Haraju-Cute Box - Brigitte]

This is definitely one of my highly anticipated Haraju-Cute Box, with the brand focus being Brigitte. Fyi, Brigitte is a girly romantic beauty brand, fronted by Rola (Japanese fashion model, TV personality and singer).

These are the products I receive, namely Brigitte Romantic Blush OR-1 Orange ($24.90) and Brigitte Romantic Eyes GD-1 Gold Brown ($26.90). 

Brigitte Romantic Blush is a duo cheek color, for highlight and contour of cheekbones. 

I'm so in love with the sweet elegant packaging! It literally makes my heart flutters ♥

OR-1 Orange is perfect for naturally glowing cheeks. By the way, the rose motif "disappears" upon swiping.

The light peach shade is for highlight while the orange-peach shade is the main cheek color. Both are very soft colors that are easy to work with. You can't go wrong with them.

I like the silky smooth texture, which is gentle on the skin. The cheek color & highlighter combine to create a lasting beautiful glow on the cheeks.

Brigitte Romantic Eyes is an eyeshadow palette, which comprises of 4 delicate graduated shades of brown.

It has the same beautiful packaging as the blush. Love it!

I opt for GD-1 Gold Brown, which is perfect for a glam eye makeup look.

The light pale gold shade is the highlight color. The golden brown shade (with rose motif) is the main lid color. The beige-brown shade is for contouring the eyes, to be applied on the outer-V of the upper eyelids. The dark brown replaces the function of an eyeliner, to add a soft definition to the eyes.

All 4 shades contain very fine micro-shimmers. As you can see, they are decently pigmented. The colors show up well, even without the use of an eye primer/base beneath. Like the blush, the eyeshadows feel silky smooth.

No doubt, Brigitte products are of excellent quality! I've created a look, using these 2 products. I'll be featuring the LOTD in a separate post. Stay tuned!

Brigitte Romantic Lip Gloss PK-1 Baby Pink

When I first saw Brigitte cosmetics, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the sweet and romantic packaging. And, not forgetting the pretty face of Brigitte cosmetics - Rola (Japanese fashion model, TV peronality and singer).

Brigitte Romantic Lip Gloss ($18.90) is a shimmer lip gloss that creates a glamorous, long-lasting lacquered effect for smooth, delicious lips. It contains jojoba oil and olive squalene to keep the lips moist. 

Comes in 5 shades PK-1 Milky Pink (hmm... it says "Baby Pink" on the product box), PK-2 Pink, BE-1 Beige, BE-2 Pink Beige, RS-1 Rose.

Other than lipgloss, they have blush, eye makeup (eyeliners, mascaras, eyeshadows, falsies) and also eyebrow grooming products.

Brigitte Romantic Lip Gloss Pk-1 Baby Pink, was one of the (many) goodies I received at the Haraju-cute event.

Ingredient list, for the curious...

It comes with the doe-foot applicator, which I prefer over the brush ones.

Brigitte Romantic Lip Gloss PK-1 Baby Pink, is a beautiful opalescent milky pink. It is fairly pigmented, which can be worn alone or over your favorite lipstick. 

It applies smoothly, giving a slight lip plumping effect. I like that it doesn't feel sticky at all. The shimmers are so fine, you can barely detect them. That's a good thing for me. 

This is the perfect lip color for a first date :P

Haraju-Cute Launch Event

Early this month, I attended Haraju-Cute Launch Event held at Sun With Moon (Wheelock Place). This Haraju-Cute concept is exclusively launched in Guardian, which carries an extensive range of Japanese makeup products from cult brands such as Bonavoce, Brigitte, Automatic Beauty (AB), AVANCE to name a few. These brands are exclusive to Guardian and available for the 1st time in Singapore.

The top ones are No.1 Chiffon, for that tender and dreamy look. The bottom ones are No.7 Doll, for that chic & dolly look. The lashes look pretty natural on me. It didn't take me very long to apply, a few mins at least since I'm no fake lash expert.

Here are the swatches of Brigitte Romantic Eyes GD-1 Gold Brown - $26.90 and Romantic Blush OR-1 Orange - $24.90. The eyeshadows are very well-pigmented, much to my surprise. I was expecting 'em to be sheer. My favorite is PK-1 Pink-Brown [ see below for swatches].

Fyi, the eyeshadows were swatched dry, directly on my hand without any primer underneath. They feel so silky smooth!

The blush feels smooth too, perfect for natural glowy cheeks.
