Do you know.. Holika Holika means 'Beauty-HOLIC'? Okay, now you know.
If you follow my tweets, I tweeted this sentence: "Holika Holika in Sg cannot seem to appeal me much since their products are ridiculously marked up and their service attitude is horrible max"
That's my impression of HH.
PS: Holika Holika is not available in Sg anymore.
CN Blue is the brand's ambassadors. I'm not a K-Pop fanatic, so naturally I know nuts about 'em. Google is my to-go, always.
♥ JUNG YONG HWA!!!! >.<~~
This was my 4th visit to the shop, located @ Wisma Atria. Whenever I walked in, I'm greeted by the usual frowns. Is this their trademark, seriously? This time, a bit different. Some smiles, at least there's slight improvement (thankfully). A need to improve their service standard. Really.
Me, Chantana & Jones were there last Sunday, before we headed down to the Guerlain Rouge Automatique Event (stay tuned to my blog post!). We swatched on the Make A Wish Cheek & Lip $15, and literally gasped at how greasy they felt. So, we went on to swatch another similar product instead - Magic Palette Painting Blusher $37.50.
The cream blushers are housed in this pretty lil' box (slightly bigger than my palm size). I totally can see myself re-using this box, for fake lashes :D
Swatch-ing time!
These definitely don't feel as greasy as Make A Wish Cheek & Lip. And, the colors blend so prettily ♥♥♥
Gel-liner swatch-fest! So smooth and creamy. Intensely pigmented as well, except for the shimmery orange color which felt kinda gritty. Lovin' the vibrant colors - teal, pink, purple ♥♥♥ The chrome gold looks good too!
With no intention of getting anything, I hauled eventually. All b'coz of the BOGO promotion (which ends today I think). If not for the BOGO, I couldn't have splurge that much on the blush palette, seriously. My loot was exactly the same as Chantana's, nail color choice different.
All in all, me had a huge savings of $36.20!
My new painting toy. They look like paint tubes, yes?
Chantana asked if I want this blending brush $9.90 $4.95. I merely replied, anything :x I'm a lazy by nature person. Well, I usually always use fingers to apply eyeshadow.
The brush bristles feel soft to touch; doesn't feel scratchy on the skin.
I couldn't capture the exact color of this nail polish no.11 $5 $2.50. Dark fuchsia. Not a bright pink, definitely. Bought this b'coz with every $50 spent, there's life-time membership (10% off). There's no card given though. Just need to show your NRIC card that's all.
After the Guerlain event, we went back to the shop again. Decided to get the gel liner afterall.
Wonder Drawing Gel Liner 04 $20 $10.
I don't have any gel liner color similar to this.
And so, that sums up my lil' haul. Happy me teehee :p
