Pupa Makeup Launch [feat. the revolutionary Vamp! Mascara]

Heard of Pupa, yes? Regardless, this post is all about Pupa. I'm a huge fan of their Luminys Baked Eyeshadows (esp. the limited edition ones) AND Multiplay Eye Pencil (Black in particular - doesn't smudge or budge once set!). Pupa is such an underrated brand, in my opinion. If you haven't venture into Pupa makeup, you're clearly missing out (:

A month ago, I attended Pupa Makeup Launch, with the star product being its all-new Vamp! Mascara

The event was held at Senso Ristorante and Bar, well-known for its authentic Italian fine-dining cuisine and its impeccable service.

Giorgio Forgani (Pupa International Celebrity Makeup Artist) was there to grace the event!

Woah! They actually brought the whole Pupa counter there :O

A whole lot of Pupa makeup for us to play with... can you imagine my very delightful face?! Me & Chantana were happily swatching away hehehe~ That explains the excessive pics in this blog post. Well, enjoy the pics :D

Pupa Luminys Baked All Over

The illuminating powder created thanks to the innovative "oven baking" technology", which bestows a very light and soft texture to the product and a truly extraordinary result.

Four coloured stripes, tone sur tone, which can be used either singularly of mixed.

Pupa Luminys Baked Face Powder

Evens out skin with a sheer effect and conceals imperfections, giving skin a natural colour.

[01 & 05]

The result is velvety soft, smooth skin. Imperceptible and light, extremely pleasing to touch and apply. The production technology behind baked products ensures: optimal softness to the touch, maximum effect when applied and maximum hold.

Pupa Luminys Duo Baked Eyeshadow

A game of contrasts and chromatic harmonies, with an endless number of matching possibilities for a multitude of effects. A pure, pearly colour eyeshadow that comes with an intense tonalized light one, with which you can play to create the most original make-up looks.

Dry is pure colour, sophisticated and ultra bright, wet is intense, extra pearly colour.

Perfect also as an eyeliner. Its soft and silky powder has a great hold and lasts long.

Pupa Luminys Baked Eyeshadow

An extraordinary result thanks to its advanced oven baking technology that enhances all properties of colour, ensuring maximum performance in application and hold.

Luminys baked Eyeshadow is a concentrate of pigments and precious pearls, which can be used either wet or dry, to find the desired intensity. Use it dry for a delicate and bright result, and wet for an intense and pearly effect. Vibrant colours and spectacular effects for surprising, seductive and hypnotizing eyes.

The result? An impeccable make-up.

Hypo-allergenic and ophtalmologically tested.

[02, 06, 10 & 03]

Here are the swatches. I didn't swatch 'em all (too many!). Only dry-swatched those colors which called out to me :P

They swatched on so smoothly and shows up beautifully without the use of an eye primer. If you prefer an intense party look, go wet! You'll be amazed, trust me.

See the pretty teal swatch? It's Pupa Multiplay Eye Pencil 03. It's a triple purpose eye pencil: versatile, very handy and perfect, glides on effortlessly. Long lasting and waterproof, delivers amazing performance, for intense and captivating eyes. Many other colors to choose from!

Not forgetting the lip products... looks good right?

Pupa Lip Perfection Natural Shine

A natural gloss for a sophisticated make-up: full colour and ultra bright effect. A creamy texture for a pleasant and smooth application. 10 brand new glamorous nuances. An innovative flocked applicator, soft and flexible; application is precise, with immediate colour release.

[09, 10, 08, 04, 08, 02]

Apparently, I've a duplicate swatch of 08... =.=zzz

Pupa New Chic

ntense colour and long-lasting shine. Soft, moisturizing texture for surprising, perfect colour release with a single stroke; extreme comfort.

You can choose any of three different effects:

  • Soft, iridescent, changing colour
  • Intensely pearly, metallic colour
  • Full, intense colour

[75, 72, 78]

Pupa Vamp! Mascara

A revolutionary mascara for exaggerated eyelashes with an oversize volume. Looking for amazing, movie-star eyes in just few seconds? Vamp! Mascara makes your eyelashes look just as spectacular as fake lashes, without having the bother to wear them. Stroke after stroke, volume gets exaggeratedly oversize, for thick, full and ultra dense lashes.

The result? Striking, no doubt about it! With unbeatable hold and no smudging.

Available in 6 spectacular colours:

100 - VAMP! EXTRA BLACK, the formula of the black colour combines 2 types of colourings: carbon black and ultramarines. Carbon black makes lashes immediately extrablack; ultramarines, a special black-blue pigment, gives a magnetic, deep look to the eyes.

200 - VAMP! CHOCOLATE BROWN, perfect for blue, hazelnut and green eyes

300 - VAMP! DEEP NIGHT, perfect for blue, hazelnut, dark brown/black and green eyes

301 - VAMP! ELECTRIC BLUE, perfect for blue, hazelnut and green eyes

400 - VAMP! AMETHYST VIOLET, perfect for blue, hazelnut, dark brown/black and green eyes

500 - VAMP! EMERALD GREEN, perfect for hazelnut, dark brown/black and green eyes

Low risk of allergies. Ophthalmologist tested. Suitable also for sensitive eyes and for people who wear contact lenses.

See my bare lashes get transformed instantly. I attended the launch event with bare lashes, coz I wanna try this new mascara! Anyway, the 1st coat of mascara (pictured left) was Amethyst Violet. Then, I layered on Electric Blue (pictured right). BOOMZ!

See what Pupa mean by exaggerated eyelashes with an oversize volume. They mean what they say! My lashes look so fake... in a good way of coz! And, the mascara feels almost like nothing on my lashes. Super lightweight! I'm not exaggerating. Really. It's seriously the BESTEST EVER VOLUME MASCARA I've ever used so far! Absolute holy grail status

I think you get what I mean, judging from the picture above (;

Pupa Luminys Touch, also one of the newly launched products. Reminds me of YSL Eclat Touche.

An illuminator that is also a concealer, it captures light, giving immediate brightness and glow to those shaded areas of the face. An extraordinary formula with P-LB COMPLEX, that has been studied to combine a flawless make-up result with an effective treatment: a complete beauty action that helps improve face brightness, reducing the appearance of dark circles around the eyes.

MAKE-UP RESULT

The Soft Focus Powders Complex reflects light, for a flawless result:

  • Dark circles and fatigue signs are minimized
  • Face is extraordinarily radiant

TREATMENT RESULT

“Light” Action”: results show a 4%* increase of face luminosity after 14 days of use°, and a 9%* increase after 28 days of use°

“Anti dark circles” action: dark circles look 14%** less evident after 28 days of use°

* % increase in face luminosity. Mean values. ** % reduction of melanin index (being melanin the main responsible element for the pigmentation of periocular areas). Mean values. ° Instrumental measurements carried out on 27 women who applied Luminys Touch twice a day.

Tests carried out through blind vs placebo experiments. Low risk of allergies. Dermatologist tested. Paraben Free.

Giorgio Forgani did a live makeup demo on Valerie Lim, Miss Singapore Universe 2011.
