Murad Hybrids™ Eye Lift Illuminator

A review on Murad Hybrids™ Eye Lift Illuminator, which I received from Murad Singapore.

According to Murad website, Murad Hybrids™ Eye Lift Illuminator (SGD$59) is a 2-in-1 problem solver, which instantly brightens the eye area. This neutralizing violet formula lifts, hydrates and depuffs while minimizing the appearance of dark circles to rapidly restore a youthful look.

It is proven to increase skin firmness by 50% in just 15 mins (minimal effect in my case).

A fuss-free pen-like design, which has a twist mechanism.

A silicone applicator which is gentle on the delicate eye area. As compared to a brush applicator, cleaning it is a breeze!

Ingredient List:-

Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PPG-12/SMDI Copolymer, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate, Methyl Gluceth-20, Stearic Acid, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Acacia Senegal Gum, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Rhizobian Gum, Hydrolyzed Rice Bran Protein, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Protein, Oxido Reductases, Glycerin, Steareth-20, Chrysin, N-Hydroxysuccinimide, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, Dipeptide-2, Sodium Hyaluronate, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbic Acid, Chitosan, Propyl Gallate, Zinc Gluconate, Sodium PCA, Betaine, Sorbitol, Glycine, Alanine, Proline, Serine, Threonine, Arginine, Lysine, Glutamic Acid, Boron Nitride, Xanthan Gum, PVP, Disodium EDTA, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Aminomethyl Propanol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Mica, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ext. Violet 2 (CI 60730), Red 40 (CI 16035)

A pretty violet formula with micro-shimmers. Advisable to use in the day as it is a makeup cum eye treatment.

The micro-shimmers are not noticeable after spreading it into skin.

I twist the pen once to dispense enough product for both eyes. Using the silicone applicator, I apply directly on my eye area (I feel no pressure exerted, which is good). Then I use my ring finger to gently pat my eye area (to blend). The product gets easily absorbed into skin. There is absolutely no sticky or greasy feeling.

However, it doesn't really do much in minimizing the appearance of dark circles. Not that I have serious ones to begin with. It serves as a good base for concealer application though; no cakiness. Illuminates and hydrates the eye area, minimizing the appearance of fine lines. Eye area appears less puffy; definitely looks brighter and more awake.

Overall, it is a OK product. It is very reasonably priced though. SGD$59 for a 2-in-1 product (eye treatment + makeup). Hope my review helps.
