Matrix Biolage Day Event @ Shunji Matsuo 313 + Giveaway!

Last week, I attended Matrix Biolage Day Event held at Shunji Matsuo 313. During this event, Bertina from Matrix, talked about their new Biolage series. And, their new In-Salon Hair Care Therapy range was also launched too. The event ended off with a pampering Biolage Hair Treatment, which 10 lucky readers will get to enjoy on this coming tues 28 Aug!

Biolage was born in 1990, as one of the 1st salon brands to blend natural botanicals with modern technology to bring out hair's natural beauty.

Looking ahead to the future, they want to extend their care for hair to greater care for the environment.

From formulas to packaging, manufacturing to community support, they are continually looking for ways to help make their brand more sustainable.

The power of botanicals for the beauty of your hair

  • Natural - The Biolage thérapie approach provides real solutions for haircare needs. From daily shampoos, conditioners and styling products to professional strength in-salon and take home treatments
  • Made For You - Biolage offers a range of clearly defined therapies designed specifically for your hair.
  • Multi-sensorial - Indulge in a complete multi-sensorial experience in the salon and at home.

Taking inspiration from the orchid, Biolage has created new colorcarethérapie – professional low pH formulas with Orchid + UV Complex to moisturize and protect the depth, tone and shine of color-treated hair without parabens or synthetic dyes.

Taking inspiration from the Rainforest’s ever-replenishing Moisture Cycle, Biolage new technology hydrathérapie continuously moisturizes hair to help stop the dehydration cycle with the Anti-Dry Care of Aloe + Passion Fruit

smooththérapie smoothes frizzy, unruly, medium to coarse hair with the silky serum of Camellia flower seed to continuously control frizz in hot, humid seasons while replenishing hair’s moisture during dry cool seasons. Hair stays naturally smooth, year-round, even in up to 97% humidity.

fortethérapie strengthens weakened hair, combining forces of science and nature to reconstruct while boosting vitality, and smoothing hair. Damaged hair is strengthened while building resistance against future breakage.

scalpthérapie Cooling Mint, with a Kola Nut + Mint Complex, revives normal to oily hair, helping to purify the scalp. scalpthérapie Anti-Dandruff products, with a unique Bio-Cushion Complex, helps relieve the daily discomforts of dandruff and stressed scalp.

Here's a list of their 5 signature bioservice...

After assessing my hair condition, the hairstylist recommended Smooth Cocoon Bioservice - to restore dry, dull, stressed hair. After washing my hair with smooththérapie shampoo, she towel dry to excess water and section my hair. Using a brush, she apply the Smooth Cocoon Blend [30ml of smooththérapie masque + 3 drops of smooththérapie serum] onto my hair (section by section).

For the hair treatment to get better absorbed, she use a plastic wrap (cling film) to wrap the hair. Then, leave it on for 5mins before rinsing off thoroughly.

Last but not least, apply smooththérapie serum to hair and blow dry.

My hair feels incredibly soft, smooth and silky after the hair treatment! Feels, looks and smells so good

It is advisable to go for regular hair treatment(s) to maintain good hair condition. Alternatively, you can choose to do your own hair treatment at home using their home-care range.
