The Body Shop All-In-One Bloggers' Event

Last month, I had a sneak preview of The Body Shop's new products at the All-In-One Bloggers' Event. The All-In-One Collection, features multi-tasking products (makeup AND skincare in one). They are formulated with CFT Marula Oil & Vitamin E, for a moisturizing smooth-skin effect. Sounds awesome much?

The event was not only about makeup. We also get to experience The Body Shop debut fragrance collection containing 100% organic essence and globally sourced natural extracts! Yes, it's literally All-In-One. That, I'm not complaining (;

PS: I'll be talking about the fragrance collection on a separate post as this post alone is pretty photo-intensive.

Simple natural makeup demo by TBS MUA

TBS All-In-One BB Cream comes in 3 shades to match all skin tones. Most BB creams in the market comes in one universal shade, which suits those with fair to medium skin tones. It is really thoughtful of TBS to come up with shade 03, to cater for those with darker skin tone.

I was fascinated upon squeezing out the BB Cream from the tube. Be it 01/02/03, they look the same - white cream with black/brown specks. Those black/brown specks are actually pigment-filled capsules, which will burst and release the color(s) from within, upon rubbing and blending them into the skin. 

See what I mean? The BB Cream will gradually change its color, adapting to your skin tone. Both Jacelyn and I were matched to shade 01. However, she is fairer than me with pink undertones. I'm a fair medium with yellow undertones, by the way. Hence, shade 01 will look different on us. Ahh... I really like the BB Cream's lightweight texture and smooth feel. 

Shade 02 is slightly darker with orange undertones, for medium to medium dark skin tones.

Shade 03 being the darkest, has strong orange undertones. Good for those with dark skin tones.

Fyi, it provides light medium to medium coverage.

TBS All-In-One Face Base (pictured on the extreme right), can be used wet or dry, just like a 2-way cake. It can be used to set the All-In-One BB Cream. Do use a large powder brush to pick up the powder, instead of the sponge, for a natural non-cakey finish.

TBS All-In-One Concealers feel very smooth and creamy. They are easy to blend, perfect for covering flaws and dark circles. The lil' circle in the middle, contains moisturizing benefits for the skin while concealing.

TBS All-In-One Cheek Colors! They feel super silky soft and smooth... blends like a dream!

The colors are so pretty! Wished you've all? :P

01 Macaroon, 02 Ginger , 04 Marshmallow, 05 Bubblegum, 07 Amber, 10 Cherryade

To be honest, it's hard to pick out my favorite. For myself, my favorite is 02 Ginger, a gorgeous shimmery peach shade. I love coral shades like 01 Macaroon too. Fancy candy pink cheeks? Get your hands on 05 Bubblegum. 04 Marshmallow, if you prefer a warmer candy pink shade. Sun-kissed cheek? 07 Amber definitely. Want slightly darker shade for cheek contour? 10 Cherryade is the one.
